Dennis O'Dell
Dennis has forty three years of experience representing sporting goods products in the outdoor industry. Products represented have been concentrated in the fields of hunting, fishing, camping and marine. With a degree in business administration from the University of Kansas, as well has his experience with the outdoor industry, Dennis is a great asset to the organization. Dennis works closely with accounts such as: Bass Pro Shops, Inc., American Rod & Gun, Graf & Sons, Sportsman’s Supply, Dunn’s Sporting Goods and Rogers Sporting Goods. With Bass Pro, he is experienced at working with their vendor-relations site to provide forecasts, manage inventory and track sales.
David Smith
David has been involved in the sporting goods industry for over thirty years. He earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Kansas. His experiences have given him knowledge in sales, marketing, promotions, managing, planning, hiring, training and manufacturing. David works on staying informed to keep Outdoor Outfitters up to date on the latest information technology and software that will help salesmen in the field, as well as improving the efficiency of the office. David works closely with Big Rock Sports, Scheels, Zanders, Midway USA, Brownell’s, Bill Hicks, Camping World, Optics Planet, Academy and many other customers. After twenty plus years of working with Cabela’s, David stays involved in programs transferred to Bass Pro Shops. He believes in regular contact and communication. Keeping customers informed and trained on product, programs and promotions in order to create a successful sales plan that ensure inventory turnover is David’s constant goal, and keeping vendors informed of customer status keeps us on track for maintaining direction.
Mike Brown
Mike’s thirty plus years in the outdoor industry brings 29 plus years of sales representation experience. Six years with a major outdoor big-box chain in sales, management and human resources. He earned his Psychology degree as well as minors in Communications, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Southwest Missouri State University. Mike has excellent experience representing Hunting, Fishing, Marine, Camping, Gifts and Apparel throughout the Midwest states. He has worked to establish and train Pro-Staff, Retail Merchandisers as well as train employees at the customer level. Mike feels employee knowledge is key to success at retail, and frequent communication with both vendor and customer provide the trust and relationships necessary for success.
Luke Berger
Luke has enjoyed over 32 years in the outdoor industry; 22 plus years in representation and 8 years at retail sales and management. His experience on both sides of the counter has given Luke an understanding of the needs of the consumer, retailer, distributor and manufacturer. While Luke and his family hail from Arkansas, he studied at Oklahoma State University and manages his accounts in eastern Arkansas and Louisiana. Being the recipient of several sales awards, Luke has earned the ongoing trust of his customers. He is an avid hunter, shooter, fisherman and enjoys nearly any outdoor activity. Luke is known with his customers for regular contact and doing whatever he needs to do solve problems, create solutions, manage and promote their business and products.
Gage-0224
Gage has been involved in sales for several years. While being involved in the sporting goods industry at the promotional level for several years as well, he has been engaged in outdoor sales for the past two years. Gage studied business at Oklahoma State University and has worked on his pilots license during this process. While having interest in information technology, he has been instrumental in the development and implementation of tracking and management software within the organization. Gage focuses on dealers, buy group members and works closely with Weby Shops, Cheaper Than Dirt, Atwoods, Gebos, Mid States and others.
TODD GIESBRECHT
Todd’s 30 plus years of involvement in sporting goods started with golf, including his BS in Business from Ferris State University and a Marketing Major with Professional Golf Management Option. This included several years teaching in the PGA. Whiles starting his sales career in golf sales, the past eighteen years has been spent working in the outdoor sports arena to include the categories of fishing, hunting, camping and shooting sports. Todd owned his own outdoor sales agency prior to joining the OOG team in 2023. While focusing on Texas, Todd enjoys strong relationships with Academy, Fishing Tackle Unlimited, Ray’s Distributing, Carter’s Country, Dury’s, GT Distributing, Rockport Tackle and others.
DAVE SHEEHY
Dave has enjoyed working in the outdoor industry for over 30 years. Twenty four of those years as sales manager for Pelican International and seven years as a sales representative. Prior, Dave proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He has enjoyed working with his customer base in North Dakota, South Dakota and northern Minnesota. These accounts include years of service to Scheels, Runnings, L&M Supply, Reeds and more. Dave works with the Outdoor Outfitters Group in a collaborative agreement with the Ludwikoski and Associates team.
BRIAN LINDSTRAND
Brian has grown up in the outdoor industry with eighteen years in the sales side of the business. Brian earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the College of Saint Scholastica and an Associate Degree from Willmar Community College. Prior to engaging the industry in sales, Brian co-founded JB Lures, Inc., managed a Herman Sporting Goods location and spent five years as a sales manager with Altus Technology. He spends his time covering southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Brian enjoys working with Sportsmans Guide, Big Rock (CSI), Northern Tool, Bill Hicks, Mills Fleet Farm, Blains Farm & Fleet, Menards and many more accounts. Brian works with the Outdoor Outfitters Group in a collaborative agreement with the Ludwikoski and Associates team.
Heather Bray
Heather has over twenty years of history working with accounting, bookkeeping, office management and support roles. Heather tracks sales and reporting, commissions, payroll, and provides overall office support. Proficiency with Excel, other Office applications and accounting software make Heather a vital part of the team.
